LowBrow Pizza & Beer is hosting its first block party in the Bayshore Arts District this weekend, combining great food, local vendors, and live art and music.

LowBrow owner Antonio Longobardo aims to make the block party a recurring event in Bayshore, creating a summer event for Naples locals who stay year-round.

"Not to say we don't love snowbirds, but we wanted to do something for the community that calls Naples home 24/7," Longobardo said.

Summertime is notoriously hard on Southwest Florida businesses, so the LowBrow block party is Longobardo's lively solution to the community's seasonal slump.

The team at LowBrow is dedicating a special pizza to the team behind the popular local food blog Naples Noms: whipped lemon ricotta base, fresh and aged mozzarella, corn, roasted tomato, charred onion, Hot Coppa, rosemary crumbs, and lemon oil.

You can also try a limited edition cocktail at the block party called "Poppin' Summer Lemonade" which is made with E11EVEN vodka, lemonade, and popping strawberry boba.

Riptide Brewery will be doing a tap takeover at LowBrow during the event, so make sure to ask what new beer you should try.

Alcohol vendors, live music & art, and exotic cars

LowBrow's block party will be packed with vendors, from alcohol tents to jewelry booths.

Cloud 9 Exotic Cars will be bringing two cars to showcase at the event. Which ones? You won't know until you go.

1800 Tequila and E11EVEN Vodka will be giving away merchandise, plus you can enter raffles and giveaways at the FC Naples and Bayshore Arts District tents.

The block party will be full of live events, from games to music to art. Zach Couran will be performing live music for the crowd to enjoy throughout the event. You can even watch masterpieces be painted in front of you with art from Marcus Zotter, Esau, and Nick Rapp. If you love a certain piece, you can take it home with you that day.

You'll be able to shop Bayshore jewelry as well, hopefully finding a new favorite piece for yourself or a loved one.
